Full Time: Days: Eligible for $10,000 Sign On Bonus Day Shift: No Weekends: Call Required: #ALDIND Job Summary: Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, performs the duties of a primary or secondary surgical technologist in surgical procedures. Minimum Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited by Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) or by the State. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). CPR certification. Work Experience: 0-2 years of related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of aseptic technique. Ability to prepare and maintain a sterile field. Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Creates and maintains sterile field, anticipates and provides instrumentation and supplies necessary to perform surgery.
