Cell Associate/ Assembler (1st Shift)

Job description

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with on-time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time. Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell. Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operation, engraver, as needed to complete operations. May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist. Daily communication with the team and other facilities is required. Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations. The work area must comply with 5S requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI’s and QP’s to accomplish the assigned task. Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
