Customer Service Associate - Claims (Supply Chain/Logistics)

Job description

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for filing and managing freight claims on behalf of our customers in accordance with our carrier contracts and claims regulations. Liaison between our customer and the carrier in negotiation and disposition of freight claims. Claims reporting and analysis with a focus on an outstanding customer experience. Shift: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Major Responsibilities: - Act as a liaison between our customer and carriers in managing freight claims - Assist in development and enforcement of our claims management policy - Review submissions, file freight claims, negotiate and resolve cargo claims timely and to the full liability of the carrier contracts - Continuous improvement of our claims management process - Utilize our Claims Management software to process claims - Create and maintain customer required reporting, attend and facilitate meetings - Understand claims procedure, maintain work instructions and SOP’s - Review carrier contracts for claim liability - Other duties as assigned.
