Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Negotiates complex technology transfer agreements with industry or sources of capital investment in university technology. - Manages an extensive intellectual property portfolio including valuating, marketing and licensing intellectual property, managing patent and/or copyright prosecution, monitoring licensee's obligations under license agreements and instructing the Financial Analyst in the distribution of royalties to the appropriate entities. - Serves as a liaison with university departments to execute technology transfer agreements. - Educates the research community on the value of intellectual property and technology transfer. - Assists the director in the selection of online and other market research tools. - Trains licensing associate staff regarding Emory's intellectual property portfolio and effective negotiating skills relative to a wide range of indust...
