Shift and Status Full time, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hybrid: Out in the field visiting patients in Stevensville and Saint Joseph surrounding areas Job Summary: As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans, unit routines, and hospital policies. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Essential Functions: - Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit. - Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding. - Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines. - Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel. - Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours. - Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of...
