Tunista Services LLC Regular: PRIMARY FUNCTION : The Material Handling Laborer is responsible for performing physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Loading, unloading and delivery of furnishings and appliances to customers. · Receive furnishings into an organization and verify furnishings against service orders to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. · Responsible for the inventory shipments and notating any discrepancies. · Routing furnishings to storage location · Assisting Appliance Technician in repairs and delivery · Workers may use material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies to bring furnishings to an appropriate location. · Assisting in weekly forklift maintenance · Cleaning and repairing furnishings · Unloading furniture/appliances from shipping containers · Ability to lift 75 Pounds · Must be able to use the bar coding system · Strong Customer Service Skills · May be required to perform inventory of property SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
