Special Ed Teacher GEMS School Salary Ranges from $58,000.00 to $60,000.00/year based on education and experience. Position Summary: Provide and supervise comprehensive educational services and intervention to assure that the educational needs of all individuals enrolled in their classroom are being addressed. Provides continuity of activities and services to individuals by planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and managing classroom activities, as well as supervising all non-exempt classroom personnel. 10 month school calendar + option to work 30 day summer session for up to an additional 9.6k Principle Duties and Responsibilities: - Demonstrate knowledge of instructional practices grounded in the research base of behavioral science for evaluation, measurement, goal planning & modifications, and instruction of participants. - Demonstrate and support staff in data collection and monitoring techniques to exemplify empirical documentation of progress. - Conduct initial and ongoing criterion-based assessments, ongoing preference assessments (with support from Coordinator/Department Head), and conduct alternate assessments with support from IEP coordinator. - Meet regularly with c...
