Job description

I. Purpose The purpose of this position is to lead the financial reporting, analysis, and compliance functions for ASHA and its affiliated entities. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information through oversight of multi-entity accounting activities, audits, and regulatory reporting. The Director develops internal controls, leads annual audits, manages federal tax compliance, and serves as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders. II. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation and distribution of accurate, timely financial statements and management reports for ASHA and its affiliates, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. - Oversee general ledger activity and financial close processes across multiple entities, including grant-funded programs and specialized reporting units. - Direct the annual audit process for all entities and special reporting programs, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinating the development of audited financial statements and supporting documentation. - Oversee and coordinate the totality of the audit work across cross-functional staff within...
