Teacher SP ED - TRANSITION - ( 260000MV ) Description Job Overview The Special Education Transition Teacher, under the direct supervision of the Program Manager Sped Specialized Programs, will provide special education services and appropriate learning activities and experiences that are designed to develop students' potential for post-secondary growth. The incumbent will provide instruction to identified students receiving special education services, which will lead to employability and independence upon graduation from public education. The Special Education Transition Teacher will provide ongoing assessment, support and monitoring of work expectations for students on campus and at community work sites. Any teacher who will coach a UIL sport will also provide athletic services related to that athletic sport and the athletic program.
