Shift: R otating Shift Days/Nights Location: Ontario, Canada location Summary: Performs a variety of activities involved in the overall running of the slitter. Primary responsibilities are, when following the finishing schedule, to constantly monitor all phases of the operator's support group, to maintain productivity, and quality. To maximize waste reduction efforts to ensure that continuous improvement goals are achieved or exceeded. Other responsibilities include the following: Ensures all employees are following environmental, safety and housekeeping standards and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: - Apply all safety regulations that meet OSHA and Mactac safety guidelines. - Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments according to schedules. - Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with various people both inside and outside the company. - Possess proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet creation/maintenance, and e-mail applications. - Pick/Pack orders needed for daily operating ans shipping. - Ensures that all instructions are carried out. - En...
