POSITION SUMMARY: Marathon Petroleum Company is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to develop and implement capital projects at its Garyville, Louisiana refinery. The selected applicant would fill the role of Process Lead for ~2-5 mid-sized capital projects, i.e. projects with an installed cost between $5-$25MM. The Process Lead will work alongside other engineering and craft disciplines in a team environment to develop and implement projects that enhance the operation of the facility. Some travel (~10%) to interface with engineering contractors should be expected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish the business case justifying new investment opportunities. Develop the process design basis and determine equipment modifications needed to achieve project objectives. Lead and participate in PFD, P&ID and Constructability reviews.
