Job Title: SSIS Developer / ETL Specialist Role Overview The SSIS Developer will design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support data integration, transformation, and loading processes for enterprise data solutions. Key Responsibilities ETL Development: - Design and implement complex SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources (DB2, Oracle, Flat Files, XML). - Utilize advanced SSIS transformations such as Conditional Split, Fuzzy Lookup, For Each Loop, MultiCast, and Script Components for data processing. - Implement error handling, logging, and checkpoints for robust package execution. Performance Optimization: - Tune SSIS packages and SQL queries for optimal performance. - Apply best practices for SSIS performance, including parallelization, lookup caching, and bulk loading techniques. Integration & Scheduling: - Schedule and monitor SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent. - Configure credentials, proxy accounts, and permissions for secure execution.
