V: VP Area: Business School: Department: Business School: FLSA Status: Exempt: Benefit Eligibility: No: Position Summary: The Meinders School of Business occasionally has openings for part-time temporary adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Applying for a part-time adjunct teaching appointment allows faculty chairs from across the School to access candidate materials if/when a teaching need arises throughout the current or future academic year. Quality instruction includes clear course objectives, prepared and relevant class activities, effective and understandable presentations of learning materials, fair and understandable grading practices, timely responses to students, and a positive atmosphere in the classroom. Instruction may take place in traditional or online courses. - Evaluate student learning, skills, and abilities. Ensure appropriate documentation of coursework and grades. - Support the integrity of curricula, encouraging student success, and promoting the mission of the School and university. - Adhere to all policies wi...
