Location: UC Medical Center Department: Inpatient Pharmacy Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Weekly Shift: First Shift UC Health is hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in our critical care unit at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. We are offering a $20.000 sign-on bonus! This position will work with a team of medical ICU specialists to provide care in our medical intensive care and medical stepdown units. The breakdown of these rotations in 10 months in the MICU and 2 months in MSD. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) provides specialized clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving care under the medical direction of a general or specialty department, division, or service, regardless of the physical location of the patient within the hospital or ambulatory clinics. The CPS coordinates these clinical services with other health care practitioners and patients through direct and indirect patient care activities, education, and project management/research within the specialty area.
