We are seeking a highly qualified Lead Experimental Physicist to join our team in Broomfield, CO , contributing their expertise to cutting-edge R&D efforts in the field of quantum computing. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams of scientists and engineers in the development and operation of devices designed to manipulate qubits, quantum spin systems, or cold, trapped neutral atom or ion systems. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct experimental work in a research lab environment, collecting data on the performance of various methods and hardware prototypes. - Review scientific results, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhanced processes and directions for further investigation. - Perform design trade studies and analyses. - Present scientific results internally, at conferences, and in publications. - Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with broader company strategy.
