POSITION SUMMARY: This position ensures that CHA’s housing portfolio of Public Housing, RAD, and Mixed Income remain in good physical, financial, and regulatory condition. The position is responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Asset Management policies and processes, and establishing strong compliance practices through layered quality control and compliance mechanisms. Additionally, this role will lead repositioning efforts for CHA’s portfolio. This position provides strategic leadership and support to a team of Directors as well as other professional and support staff. Through the departments they oversee, the Deputy Chief establishes checks and balances for the activities of the Property Operations and Construction Divisions. They function as the liaison between other Agency divisions, ensuring seamless provision of resources to the division. They also represent the interests, needs, and outcomes of the division through direct interface with Owner entities, equity investors, lenders, regulatory bodies, CHA executive team members, community stakeholders, and others as needed.
