Data Governance Specialist, Materials and Manufacturing Planning

POSITION SUMMARY: This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy across many different avenues for the Materials Management team. This role is critical in driving the data pipeline for the Purchasing & Planning organizations, assist with data entry, assuring data used is clean, aligned and ready within the ERP and connected systems, be able to see opportunities for improvement initiatives relevant to data management, and document and train on data processes. Their goal is to create a “right the first time” data pipeline – eliminating downstream rework, holds or mismatched data causing delays in execution and reporting or incorrect signals. Other tasks as needed within Materials Management. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Buyer, Planner, and Scheduler KPI Governance - Ensure KPI data is complete, accurate, and aligned across sites. - Document issues impacting data quality and coordinating resolution with IT partners. - Material Requirements Planning Data Governance & System Health - Partner with the Materials Management team to optimize MRP logic, including testing and long‑term performance monitoring. - Lead master data cleanup initiatives to improve system accuracy. - Lead‑Time Managemen...
