The Opportunity Ulteig is seeking a full-time Lead Environmental Specialist to facilitate environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations for public and private clients across all of our Lifeline Sectors: Transportation, Renewables, Power, and Water, as well as other industries we serve. Our goal is to assist clients with developing an approach to environmental compliance and due diligence that balances development with natural and cultural resources protection. The candidate will work from our Greenwood Village, Colorado, office and/or remotely from the Front Range. The Lead Environmental Specialist will support and manage new and existing projects as well as assist with business development across our footprint. Proven experience in environmental analysis, compliance, and public/stakeholder involvement will be needed to lead, author, and review technical reports. The applicant should have direct experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), wetland delineation, biological resources, historic/cultural resources, and environmental due diligence surveys/documentation/approvals.
