Description Job Summary: The AR Credit Specialist position is responsible for working with customers to accelerate the speed that they pay NEFCO by collecting aged receivables and for applying a consistent credit policy towards customers. Periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers should occur daily. Specialists will always be pleasant and respectful to all internal and external customers and act as NEFCO ambassadors. Job Duties: - Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and reporting on monthly collections in a timely manner. - Providing customer service regarding collection issues, processing customer refunds, review and process account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. - Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accounts - Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer deductions, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos. - Interact with Cash Application team, Sales Tax Dept, Customer Service and other internals departments as necessary to effectively reconcile accounts as required. - Enlist the efforts of sales and seni...
