About the Position As an Estimator – Change Order at Power Design, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, timely estimates and cost analyses for project change orders across multiple disciplines. This position plays a key role in maintaining project profitability, supporting operations, and ensuring that change-related work complies with Power Design’s standards of excellence. Working from our state-of-the-art headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, this role supports preconstruction and project teams by managing pricing adjustments, verifying scope changes, and ensuring financial accuracy through detailed estimating. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Position Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate change order estimates for electrical, low voltage, mechanical, and specialty systems. Review design and construction documents to identify changes in scope and quantify cost impacts. Utilize estimating software and internal databases to generate cost projections, material takeoffs, and labor analysis.
