Job Overview: Reporting to the HR Business Partner, Lunenburg, the HR Generalist, Lunenburg Operations is responsible for the effective utilization and development of human resources programs and processes throughout the Operations and Supply Chain organization. The incumbent will report to and work closely with the HR Business Partner to support both salaried and hourly unionized employees in a fast-paced, high performance Supply Chain. *This is a 14-month contract position Essential Duties and responsibilities: - Manage disability claims, attendance, and accommodation processes, partnering with EHS and HR to support safe and timely return-to-work outcomes. - Support recruitment, onboarding, orientations, probation reviews, and internal job posting and bidding processes in line with the collective agreement. - Provide day-to-day HR guidance to employees and supervisors on performance, compliance, benefits, and collective agreement matters. - Maintain accurate HRIS records for employee changes and validate time and attendance data for payroll processing. - Coordinate training, employee communications, recognition programs, social initiatives, and workplace events to support engagem...
