POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for removing masking tape and paper from the mold surface in a specific order and timing between various gel coat spray applications. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: N/A - This is a 2nd shift position. Hours are 2:30 pm to 11:00 p.m. - There will be a shift differential of $2.00 and hour . - This shift is Sunday through Thursday - Remove portions of tape from mold surfaces at the correct time as determined by curing of the gel coat to prepare for the next spray coat. 35% - Clean the gel coat stripe lines by using a gel coat knife to prepare the mold for the next color. 35% - Inspect the stripe areas for gel coat and flake coverage and if needed apply more gel coat or flake with a paint brush. 10% - Decks are hand painted around the boxes, seats, and areas that are hard to reach by the gel coaters. 5% - Assist in moving molds in and out of the gel coat booths and in and out of the gel coat department. 5% - Assist in cleaning the mold surface. 5% - Keep work area safe, clean, and hazard free 5% - ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: - Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds - Pushing and pulling molds - Requires standing and walking -...
