Description FLSA Status: Part-time, Hourly: Work Schedule: Variable hours: Summary: The School Bus Driver provides clean, safe and reliable transportation and ensures that students enjoy the full advantage of school programs and activities, especially field trips. This is a part-time position with hours as needed. Position Responsibilities: - Transports students to and from school and school-related activities in a safe manner. - Appropriately operates all vehicles and equipment in fleet. - Communicates effectively with members of the school and community. - Fosters a joyfully Catholic and classical culture during transport that is an extension of the school culture. - Handles bus and students in adverse weather conditions. - Ability to relate well to students. - Inspects bus prior to and after each route or activity trip. - Maintains bus in clean condition and inform the school of any routine maintenance or repairs required. - Adheres to Archdiocese health and safety policies. - Follows all school-specific protocols and policies. - Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others. - Respo...
