Senior Operations Analyst (Navy MCM/MIREM)

Job description

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a S enior Operations Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Mine Warfare (MIW) Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (MIREM) program at the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) in San Diego, CA . The MIREM program assesses the readiness and effectiveness of sensors, systems, weapons, and countermeasures employed by individual and groups of platforms to meet specified objectives in tactically and operationally relevant environments. An ideal candidate will have a background in operations research/analysis, statistics, and data analysis in a US Navy environment, especially in a MIW/Mine Countermeasures (MCM) setting. Typical Responsibilities: Location: Full time onsite (no remote/hybrid) at Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) on Naval Base San Diego in San Diego, CA. Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel is anticipated to include CONUS and OCONUS locations. Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment.
