Job Title: Building Maintenance Clerk Starting rate of pay: $17.00/hr: JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Building Maintenance Clerk involves performing a variety of general maintenance and repair work duties for the Company’s stores and office buildings. Works under the immediate supervision of the Lead Building Maintenance Manager. DUTIES: 1. Clean and oils, check out conveyors (where applicable), hand trucks, flatbed trucks, roller conveyors, compactors, air conditioners, cooler and freezer blower fans. 2. Steam cleans carts, trucks, and equipment for the Meat Department. 3. Repairs shopping carts- replace wheels, plastic seats, etc. 4. Replaces bulbs in sales and warehouse areas; lunchroom, outside fixtures; changes ballast. 5. Replaces air conditioner filters every three months. 6. Performs minor plumbing repairs-toilet, hand basin, slop sinks, meat/produce and grocery sinks. 7. Performs minor painting repairs- lunchroom, restrooms, warehouse area, check counter, parking lines, curbing, cart stations, exterior building. 8.
