Backend Software Engineer III About Team: The team works on the product which is a search engine and analytics platform for researchers, including academicians, research organizations, and international bodies like the UNDP, providing research data and analytics capabilities. About Role: This position performs research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing. Acts as a backend software engineer and technical contributor within a cross-functional squad. Contributes to the design, development, testing, deployment, and operational stability of scalable backend systems and APIs. Works collaboratively with Product Managers, Architects, QE, SRE/Platform Engineering, and other squads to deliver reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable software solutions.
