Description Love being in the OR? We have your dream job. Ideal candidate is a hard working Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of Orthopedic and surgical experience. Has Colorado license, NCCPA certified, DEA and prescriptive authority. Must be open to learning new skills to add onto current skill set, have a team work mentality. Will work in multiple specialties including Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, Spine, Hand, and Foot and Ankle. We cover a group of 8 busy surgeons. At quite a few different hospitals and surgery centers. SURGICAL ASSISTANT POSITION OVERVIEW: Surgical assistants' main responsibilities are to assist the physician, physician assistant or nurse in the examination and treatment of patients, and assist nurses as needed by performing the following duties SURGICAL ASSISTANT ESSENENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - triage patients and administer appropriate treatment under the direction of a physician or other medical provider's staff.
