Overview The award-winning Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is currently hiring for a YPL Children's Services Assistant at the Windmill Library. General Summary: Under general supervision, the YPL Children's Services Assistant interacts with a wide variety of internal and external customers including youth and teens to support general library operations; provides reference, reader’s advisory, and periodicals services for the assigned department by searching files, automated library systems, and library shelves to locate requested items or materials. This position also performs a variety of transactional duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices. May perform charge duties as required. Typically reports to management-level Library Operations position. Description of Hours and Wages: The pay range for this position is $26.73 to $35.83 per hour. Pay typically begins at the minimum of the pay range, and employees are eligible for annual merit and COLA increases per District policy.
