Electrical/System Lead Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities: - Lead electrical and system engineering activities within R&D projects, owning technical delivery from concept through production - Define system architecture, product requirements, and technical specifications for high-power laser and mixed-signal systems - Drive the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical systems to achieve performance, quality, and reliability targets - Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities to ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met - Oversee design verification, validation, and product certification activities, ensuring compliance with EMC and electrical safety standards - Provide technical problem-solving and engineering support for customer and product-related challenges, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting - Coordinate external development partners and suppliers to support technical execution and product delivery - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including manufacturing, mechanical design, software, and optics to ensure successful product development - Follow established product development processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and stage-gate fra...
