Overview Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This position positively impacts our extrusion and compounding processes by maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Responsibilities: - Determining the cause of equipment breakdowns; fixing the issues within scope of role. When necessary, escalating issues to the appropriate next level including ideas for resolving the problem. - Responding to work orders and unplanned maintenance requests during shift. - Regularly using hand tools, powered tools, electronic testing equipment or other means to repair breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders and check equipment. - Following scheduled preventive maintenance procedures and reporting any necessary repairs that fall outside of preventative maintenance. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment - Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. - Completing documentation related to closing work orders and equipment testing.
