Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: School of Veterinary Medicine Position Information: The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position as Assistant/Associate Professor-Director of Veterinary Clinical Skills. The Director of Clinical Skills provides leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Clinical Skills curriculum across the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program. This faculty role integrates teaching, curricular leadership, competency-based assessment, simulation-based education, and scholarly activity while providing academic and operational leadership for the Clinical Skills program. This position is responsible for simulation-based education, competency-based assessment (including OSCEs), procedural skills training, and oversight of clinical skills laboratory operations. The Director plays a key role in ensuring graduates are practice-ready and that the program aligns with AVMA COE accreditation standards and institutional learning outcomes.
