General Summary The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive account relationship with assigned national customers and functioning as a liaison between Deckorators plants and the assigned national customers in order to increase sales and profits. Works under general direction; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a significant degree of creativity is expected. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Category manages product lines, ensuring success on shelf, in DC’s and in Special Order Programs. Works with merchants for alignment and execution. Works closely with category manager to use data to drive decisions within the category. Executes product and pricing information from the BU in preparation for product line reviews. Attends meetings with assigned national customers and other national accounts as necessary to grow our business and profitability Implements any new business or programs with assigned national customers Handles merchant calls and field to the proper contacts as necessary Works with RSM’s and SDR’s on field requests and action plans Follows up on customer issues/complaints and assigned n...
