We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Somerset to assist with the appointment of a Streetworks Inspector , on a 5-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £14.32 - £19.39 per hour Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Streetworks Inspector to join the highways team supporting the inspection and compliance of street works activities across Somerset. The successful candidate will inspect live street works and completed reinstatements to ensure compliance with NRSWA legislation, permit conditions, SROH standards, and the Safety at Street Works & Road Works Code of Practice. This is a field-based role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites daily.
