Job description

Position Summary: The Patient Access Representative I - Scheduling must obtain all information related to the appointment to include patient demographics, related benefit information and method of referral in a call center environment. They must schedule patients based on need and physician protocol. Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, certification level, and relevant orthopedic or high-volume clinical background. Qualifications: - Candidate must be a high school graduate. - 1 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment. - Registration, scheduling, healthcare benefits experience helpful. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Must be detail oriented. - Able to multi-task and handle high call volumes. - Must have working knowledge of Windows based computer environment and typing skills.
