Supports the interdisciplinary program/team in achieving program and resident/client goals, supervises designated staff, schedules and coordinates work assignments and establishes priorities and problem solves. Participates in quality improvement activities and supports clinical innovation. Responsible for all clinical aspects of the assigned caseload as they relate to physical therapy practice, utilizing recognized physiotherapy assessment and intervention approaches. Works collaboratively with members of the health care team, including residents and families, to set physical performance and capacity goals, evaluate response to treatment and develop long term care plans.
