1st Shift Shipping (Material Handler I & Yard Jockey)

Description Purpose of Position: Responsible for the movement of goods (Raw & Finished) throughout the production and warehouse in a safe and timely manner. Responsible to ensure work orders/cases are verified and scanned to the load before shipping. Inspect all cases to ensure they are free from damage and product that has been ordered by the customer is exactly is shipped. Must also ensure all corresponding paperwork is correct for processing by the shipping office. Consistently pulls/selects and ships products and materials at a level that meets or exceeds current quality requirements and the demands of AAF Flanders. As with all positions in the shipping department, must ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are followed as they are written to ensure quality measures are met. Must have knowledge of operating and working as a Yard Jockey. The schedule will be Monday - Friday from 5:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Operate powered industrial equipment as trained by OHSA and AAF/Flanders standards. 2. Movement of materials in timely manner as to ensure the operation is flowing smoothly. 3.
