Ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Columbus area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule coming into the Dublin, Ohio office one day a week. Also open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones! What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets. Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, coordinate, and own the preparation and review of quarter‑end SEC deliverables for the GMPD segment and OptiFreight business, including balance sheet flux analyses, SEC reporting packages, balance sheet vendor reserves, SAB 108 adjustments and unusual items, and disclosure checklists, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. - Prepare and provide audit support for key SOX controls, partnering with Internal Aud...
