Summary The Drafting Manager will work alongside The President and Project Managers to help Prepare Clear and Concise Shop Drawings from The Drafters for The Field Installers. The Drafting Manager will Oversee, Manage, Train The Drafters in Participating in Weekly Coordination Meetings, Updating Shop Drawings, Send RFI’s for any Clarifications needed from Drawings. The Drafter Manger will be Responsible Confirming The Drafters are Preparing Technical Drawings with Dimensions to be used on Construction Sites. Essential Functions: - Prepare Shop Drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software to Produce Detailed 2D/3D Drawings, Floor Plans, Elevations, and Cross-Sections. - Work from Rough Sketches or Specifications Created by Engineers and Architects to understand Project Requirements. - Add Detail to Architectural and Mechanical Plans for Proper Installation. - Specify Dimensions, Materials, and Procedures for New Products. - Ensure all Drawings meet Industry Standards, Building Codes, and Project-Specific Guidelines. - Work Closely with President and Project Managers for Accurate Drawings. - Other Duties as Assigned.
