Veterinary Assistant Peachtree Hills is currently seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant. We aren't your average Veterinary Hospital, we aim to create a real community within our clinic - among staff, clients, and patients. We want someone who cares not just about animals but about their owners, too. We are a 13-doctor practice located in Buckhead providing preventative, urgent, and emergency care. At Peachtree Hills, w e strive to create a mixture of hard work, fun, teamwork, and a quality of life. Responsibilities: Restraint - restrain patients for exams, obtaining samples, ultrasound, radiology, etc. Obtain samples - blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory tests Laboratory procedures - in-house blood chemistry and hematology, complete urinalysis, cytology of skin and ears, snap tests, as well as processing and submitting samples to an outside lab Patient care - hospitalized and critically ill patients: monitoring vital signs, administering medications and/or fluids, etc Set up and perform radiographs: Client education - nutrition, pet care, vaccine protocols, preventatives, etc. Support veterinarians to ensure exceptional veterinary care during preventative, injury...
