Position Number: 22101825 County: Izard The DHS Program Eligibility Specialist I works under general supervision and is responsible for determining client eligibility, obtaining client information, coordinating services with providers, and preparing information and recommendations. Initial and on-going training is required and may also require in-State travel (day and/or night stays). Requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize workload. This position is client-facing and requires strong interpersonal skills. This position will escort clients to and from the lobby, handle receptionist duties (phone, copier, client check-in). Preferred Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or related field.
