Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. - Patrolling: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior to check doors, windows, and gates for security breaches. - Access Control: Monitor site and building entrance points, verify visitor credentials, and manage staff/visitor sign-ins. - Weapons Detection: Operates and advise onsite weapons detection system (Evolv) and respond / intervene detected weapons to protect site / staff. - Surveillance/Investigate: Monitor alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect unauthorized activity and reviews unlawful activity or site policy violations for reporting & escalation. Escalate when needed and leverage off-site law enforcement for controlled response. - Incident Response: Serve as the first responder to emergencies, disturbances, or safety hazards, contacting law enforcement or fire departments as necessary. - Incident management: Respond to emergency situations and gain control of situation, abate / resolve problem and gain control of area.
