What success looks like in this role: The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and data center operations. Familiarity with server installations and network updates is also required. Engineers will provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance and Installation of Dell product located at Customer Site. - The Data Center Technician’s responsibilities include maintaining the data center’s IT system, troubleshooting issues, performing server installations, and ensuring uninterrupted access to network services. - Installing and configuring data center infrastructure including servers, racks, switches and other hardware - Regularly monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues - Performing regular maintenance and updates to systems, software, and hardware - Ensuring the data center’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems are operating efficiently - Carrying out routine network maintenance tasks, such as managing user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam - Ensuring the data center’s power supply is consistent and reliable - Ensuring data backups are completed...
