Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT) engineering and transformation office. The full stack BookBuild Principal Engineer will join the Banking Primary Markets Technology team within Corporate and Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT). This team supports the issuance of new Debt and Equity Securities to the Markets. This business is in a strategic growth phase and is investing in foundational software solutions for the future. This role is pivotal to the success of strategic initiatives in a Front Office Markets environment and is designed for an engineer who thrives in high-performance, front-to-back delivery environments. As a hands-on Tech Lead, you will spearhead the design and development of BookBuilder systems which enable our Syndicate Desks to collaborate with other Sell-Side Brokers to issue new securities to Buy-Side clients, thereby raising funding for our Issuer clients. BookBuilder systems are integrated with other Broker and Investor systems via 3rd party venues such as S&P IssueNet and DirectBooks.
