Remote Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am ET - 5:00pm ET What Medical Documentation Representative contributes to Cardinal Health The Core Medical Documentation Representative role is centered around making sure all required medical documentation is complete and accurate so patient orders can move forward without delay. This includes contacting doctors’ offices, following up consistently, and ensuring we’ve obtained everything needed from insurance providers so equipment can be shipped and delivered on time. Responsibilities: Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc) Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
