Become a part of our caring community The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 is a Registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients. The Dispensing Pharmacist's work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Payable in 2 installments- First upon hire and the second payment after completing 6 months of employment) Dispensing Pharmacist 2 Scope of Role and Responsibilities: Participate in the preparation of prescriptions via a highly automated system Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders. Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling Interact with fellow health care team members Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy Process and check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill Braille and Talking Vial orders. Researching medication issues: Other duties as assigned by management Shift : 8-hour shift Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. EST (Based on business need) Overtime (Can include weekends-Saturday and/or Sunday)...
