Dispatch and Operational Coordination: - Coordinate paperwork with outside truck drivers for inbound and outbound shipments. - Confer with supervisors and managers to align dispatch activities with warehouse operations. - Arrange shipping documentation and communicate with carriers to secure equipment and ensure on-time shipments and billing. - Examine invoices and shipping manifests for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. - Spot and prioritize orders based on bill time, ensuring earliest deadlines are met first. - Track live loads, monitor dock doors, and proactively manage flow to minimize detention time. - Maintain accurate and organized records of all load-related documentation.
