Position Summary: Hospital Facility 1450 Collector. Health insurance physician claim follow up including filing appeals, submitting supporting documentation, requesting reconsideration via phone or online to ensure accurate claim payment is received. Timely and accurate resolution of assigned claims in accordance to department policies and procedures. Professional written communication through system notes, appeal forms and emails. Understanding of EOB, denial codes and 1450 claim form is preferred. Follow up as needed with payers until claim resolution is obtained. Responsible for p...
