OVERVIEW: McKim & Creed is seeking an enthusiastic CAD Technician to provide technical AutoCAD Civil 3D support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects as part of a multi-discipline team to produce design/construction drawings and specifications. DURING YOUR WORKDAY, YOU WILL: - Work in a project team setting and support the designers and engineers with development of drawing files. - Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings. - Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving. - Prepare drawings for various members of the project team. - Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development. - Balance multiple tasks on multiple projects. - Must be communicating with design team to complete work efficiently and on time. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: - 2- or 4-year degree in design related major. - Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D required. - Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but enjoy variety in work schedule and can tolerate change. - Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team. - Good technical skil...
