Job Summary The Local Transfer Driver is responsible for operation of commercial motor vehicle to transfer raw product from suppliers station to our processing facility. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Pick up raw materials as needed; weigh in raw material when returning to plant. - Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition. - Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules. - Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee. - Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc). - Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily. - Maintain DOT log on onboard computer. - All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: - Must be at least 21 years of age with clean MVR. - Current Class A CDL holder, with tanker endorsement.
