Sterile Supply Technician - League City Supply Chain Operations - ( 2601583 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, no experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous OR inventory management experience. Hospital supply chain experience. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the supply management and daily availability of commodity and implant supplies for assigned OR service lines. Provides supply chain support for surgical services, while exemplifying the mission, vision, and values of UTMB and acts in accordance with UTMB policies and procedures. Responsible for effective and efficient distribution of surgical supplies to designated locations, inclusive of storage cabinets, support rooms, sterile areas, sterile processing, and all other appropriate areas within the Operating Room. Job Duties: Daily inventory of computer information systems in assigned areas, including cycle count audits, monitoring expiring/at-risk inventory, and working through outstanding orders.
